Cycle Lifestyle Summer Issue

I was recently commissioned to design the front cover for the wonderful Cycle Lifestyle Magazine. The magazine is a huge success and this is their 7th issue featuring articles written by cyclist for cyclists.  See the link below to read the online copy and look out of for it across the capital.

Le Cool Cover Art

This week I had the pleasure of designing the front cover for Le Cool magazine 250th edition.
The theme was London and this edition covers the 7th – 13th of June so I wanted my “le cool” people in their shades in the sunshine.
Check out my artwork on the website here: http://london.lecool.com/london/en/issue/1079?archive

Queen Elizabeth the Second - What a Diamond!

What a great weekend to be British! A lovely few days full of celebrations, everyone came together and had fun all for the love of the Queen. What a woman!

Pattern Designs

I am working on a few projects at the moment so I haven’t been able to post anything in a while but here are a couple of pattern designs I am developing.

The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories by Angela Carter

The Bloody Chamber

"And he kissed those blazing rubies, too. He kissed them before he kissed my mouth.”

Puss in Boots

"A white hand fragrant as a Arabia descends from the black cloak and reciprocally rubs behind his ears at just the ecstatic spot."

The Company of Wolves

"Every wolf in the world now howled a prothalamion outside the window as she freely gave the kiss she owed him."

Happy Christmas from Cycle Lifestyle

Cycle Lifestyle magazine have used my image for their Christmas greeting message on their home page. My work can also be seen in their latest issue 6.

Cycle Lifestyle is a free magazine published by Oldspeak Publishing. It's contributors are London based cyclists who share experiences and their mission is "to show how cycling can make individuals and communities so much happier."

A Christmas Alphabet

I decided for Christmas this year I would attempt to make a Christmas Alphabet, an image for each letter. Let me know what you think.

Could It Be Magic?

This is the final design for PPL’s Christmas part flyer. Four magicians are booked to entertain 250 guests. I had to come up with the name and design.

Entry for Stylist Issue 100

www.stylist.co.uk/100/made-by-you-the-readers-covers

This was my entry for Stylist magazine’s Issue 100 Competition.

The lovely people at the weekly magazine decided that they wanted their 100th issue to be made entirely of their reader’s contributions.  They ran many competitions and I joined in by creating the below.

The brief was that the image had to fit in with the magazine and feature the number 100. I cut out my image in lino, printed it in black and white and coloured the image in Photoshop to fit in with the colours used in the “100 Made by You” logo.

See link for the rest of the entries.
